How We Taught Dubadu to Speak 22 Languages Without Google Translate

Written by
Dubadu Team

From the very beginning, Dubadu was designed as an international platform. We always put the user experience first. That’s why everything in our product is carefully thought out - from familiar words in the interface to chats where you can write in your native language.

You know that feeling when you need to message someone in a foreign language? Most of us hesitate: what if I make a mistake, translate something incorrectly, or simply won’t be understood? Sometimes this fear stops people from writing at all.

That’s why we built an AI-powered automatic translation directly into the chat. And it’s not the only feature that makes Dubadu feel natural and accessible. Here’s how it works.

Automatic translation in chats

In Dubadu’s chat, every message is automatically translated into the interface language chosen by each user. A renter in Kyiv can write in Ukrainian. A property owner in Dubai will instantly see it in their preferred language.

We developed our own algorithms, connected AI solutions, and integrated DeepL and Google Translate. This combination turned Dubadu into a platform that truly speaks the user’s language.

According to the Dubai Land Department, foreign buyers account for the majority of property transactions in Dubai, highlighting the importance of multilingual tools in real estate.

An interface that adapts to any language

The biggest challenge for our product and engineering team was making the interface multilingual. Translation is not just about words - it’s about how the interface adapts.

Take a simple example: the English word Buy is short, while the Ukrainian Купити or the French Acheter is much longer. To handle this, we built an internal AI-powered tool that automatically checks whether words fit into buttons or layouts. If something doesn’t fit, the system flags it, and our developers adjust the design.

This is an ongoing process - we’ve already made numerous changes, and we continue to refine the interface. And yes, if you ever spot something that looks off, we’d love to hear from you by email.

Professional Translations with Native Speakers

We also created a dedicated department that works with native speakers. Their role is to make sure translations sound not only correct, but also natural in everyday use.

For example, in Ukrainian we say новобудова for a new development. But globally, everyone recognizes the term off-plan. Small details like this shape the overall user experience and make Dubadu feel truly localized.

CSA Research found that 76% of online shoppers prefer to buy products with information in their native language, and 40% never purchase in other languages.

A multilingual telegram channel

We regularly share updates, plans, achievements, and even challenges in our official Telegram channel: @dubaduua.

Of course, we wanted the channel itself to be multilingual. So we created a ChatGPT-based bot that automatically translates our content. It’s simple:

  • A user starts the bot,
  • Chooses their language,
  • And always receives a high-quality translation.

Interestingly, apart from English, many of our readers choose Italian, Czech, Spanish, or even Dutch. This once again proves: Dubadu is a space without language barriers.

What’s Next?

We are expanding into new markets. This means more languages - and more services, buttons, and features. Each of them requires the attention of our team working on translations and interface design.

We’ll continue to share our internal tools that make Dubadu global. In fact, we are already preparing new materials about personalization, automation, and smart services that work wherever there’s internet access.

Because Dubadu is not just a website or an app. It’s an experience. And we create it in the language of every user. According to Statista, the global language services industry was valued at $60 billion in 2022 and is projected to surpass $96 billion by 2032.

In Summary: Why Dubadu Speaks Your Language

Let’s wrap it up. Here are the main reasons why Dubadu truly breaks down language barriers in real estate:

  • 22 languages supported as of the end of August 2025 - automatic chat translation makes communication effortless.
  • Smart interface adaptation - AI checks every button and layout to fit different languages.
  • Human touch in every word - our team works with native speakers so translations feel natural.
  • A global community in one click - multilingual Telegram channel with a ChatGPT-powered bot delivers content to readers worldwide.
  • Dubadu is more than a platform - it’s a truly global space where every user feels at home, no matter the language.
